Job description

​A central London studio are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join their dynamic team as an Associate Director (Branded Environments) specialising in Wayfinding, Placemaking, and Visual Identity.

The successful candidate will lead and inspire their team with a strong focus on creative and technical leadership, project management, and fostering innovation. This role requires autonomy, minimal supervision, and active support for junior colleagues to ensure high-quality design standards are met, projects are delivered on time and on budget, and business development strategies are successfully executed.

The role will entail the following responsibilities:

·         Manage projects, ensuring design excellence and technical proficiency.

·         Lead project meetings and client presentations, acting as the primary client contact.

·         Provide guidance and training to junior colleagues, fostering their development.

·         Cultivate strong client relationships and support new business development efforts.

·         Demonstrate a sound understanding of budget control and project finance.

 

What We're Looking For:

·         Proven experience in design for the built environment, with expertise in Wayfinding, Placemaking, and Visual Identity.

·         Strong project management skills and client liaison experience.

·         Excellent leadership abilities and team-oriented mindset.

·         Awareness of industry best practices and a passion for design.

·         Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office.

·         Design Management/Project Management qualification desirable but not essential.
