We are currently working with a client with studios country-wide, they are a large Architecture practice that prides itself on creating sustainable and responsive buildings with their focus being on how these enrich individuals and communities. They are currently looking for a Bids Manager to join their team in London, this is a new role within the business, working with a small team. The ideal candidate will be someone with a previous background working as a Bids Manager or a very experienced Bids Coordinator who is looking to step up into a managerial role.
The role
· Support with bid submissions for all bid stages, coordinating submission inputs, copywriting, editing and formatting the responses into InDesign, or the required format.
· Maintaining the bid information library in collaboration with the wider bid team.
· Assisting a group management team in researching and identifying relevant market intelligence and where required working on specific submissions.
The candidate
· Highly organised, self-motivated, and demonstrating a keen eye for detail, you will also possess excellent communication skills as you will be liaising with clients and colleagues across the business.
· To have good attention to detail.
· A strong ability in copywriting, proofing and editing skills to create compelling responses for bids is essential.
· Ability to analyse what is required from a question and utilise all the resources available to tailor the most comprehensive responses.
· Ideally prior experience in bid/proposal creation for a construction industry consultant or contractor.
