Job description
This globally renowned design practice of over 200 people known for delivering Stadiums, Sporting Arenas, and Aviation projects, has an urgent need for experienced Design Managers and Project Manager to support their Senior Design Managers on the delivery of large and complex high-profile UK and International architectural schemes, on a contract / freelance basis.
The successful experienced Design Managers and Project Managers will be tasked to support the Senior Design Managers with project initiation documents/processes, setting up procedures, assisting with project close out including sign-off and payment, preparing competition and bid material, supporting and promoting the design management discipline across the group, and typical tasks aligning with that of a Design Manager or Project Manager.
Experienced Design Managers and Project Managers applying must have proven DM/PM experience and proficient skills using project management software relating to architecture or construction; have strong attention to detail with excellent time management and organisation skills; be confident in driving high performing design teams to deliver projects according to objectives and have ideally worked on similar large scale or complex building projects.
Please note these positions are very urgent and this client is hoping to interview and make decisions very quickly, therefore applicants with a notice period of more than 2 weeks are unlikely to be progressed.
This client’s office is based in Southwest London requiring a 4-5 day per week ‘in-office’ commitment and typically 40 hours per week. The initial contract will run to the end of 2025 with likely extensions or present an opportunity to go permanent into 2026.
