This architectural and interiors practice offering a bespoke design and project management service to high-net-worth residential clients, is seeking an additional Mid-Senior Technician, Technical Interior Designer or Interior Architect with strong AutoCAD skills for a 12–24-month PAYE day rate contract.
The successful Mid-Senior Technician, Technical Interior Designer or Interior Architect will be joining two other White Space freelancers working on a very substantial listed high-end residential building project in London. You will be working on RIBA stages 4 & 5 interior fit-out packages (bespoke joinery, stone, metalwork, bathrooms, and a lot more) for a project already onsite.
You will be working closely with a small project team incorporating a specialist Heritage Architect, Interior Designer, Main Contractor, D&B Contractors and more. This position requires working at pace in the delivery of technical drawings and details, responding to iterative design development and drafting and coordinating with makers, manufacturers, contractors, and specialist trades in the development of shop floor, fabrication level drawings to suit design intent.
The expectation would be to work onsite 3-5 days/week in a dedicated converted coach house style studio and the rest from home, 40 hours per week 9-5 with flex start/finish.
Experienced Mid-Senior Technicians, Technical Interior Designers or Interior Architects applying must have strong AutoCAD skills, have some site experience, and proven experience of working on high-end bespoke interiors packages including bespoke joinery, stone, metalwork, bathrooms, and a lot more. Ideally your experience would be gained on high-end residential projects, but this client may consider close matching sectors such as high-end hotels and hospitality etc.
Please note that this client can only accept applications from experienced Mid-Senior Technician, Technical Interior Designer or Interior Architect who are available immediately or who can start within 2-3 weeks’ time.
PAYE Day Rate payment model only, 40 hours per week with flexi start and finish times, full time on site or hybrid site/home working possible.
