A highly respected luxury high end residential design practice is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer for their West London studio.
The highly respected company offer design services from concept through to technical design and works on site. They have a number of high profile projects in the United Kingdom and around the work including Asia, Middle East and Europe. They have been growing steadily for the past few years and winning numerous new projects.
Working closely with Architects and wider design teams including furniture designers, they design interiors that complement the architectural design and exceed client expectations.They are a really friendly team who really support each other in projects. A really light and open plan office with a beautiful library space the company will offer you all the support you need to take on projects and run with them with a small team to help you.
The successful candidate must have an interest in residential interiors but not necessarily a portfolio focused in this as it's the design and process that's just as important. The current team have a wide range in backgrounds so the main priority is that you'll be working on residential and hospitality. You already have a working knowledge of the different design stages. Essential is a knowledge of FF&E design and Autocad skills.
This role will see you assisting with the development of ideas, the production of drawings, documentation and FF&E schedules.
Candidates must have the following qualifications, experience and skills:
Minimum 6 years’ experience in an interior design/ architecture role
Interior Design degree level qualification or architecture.
Proficient user of Autocad.
Proficient in Sketchup, InDesign, Photoshop & Microsoft Office including Excel.
An eye for sketching would be advantageous
Highly organised with a flair for design and creativity
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Works well in a team and being able to manage a small team.
