Job description

A global design practice who are listed within the UK Top 20 and within the Global Top 100 of architectural practices is hiring for a Senior Interior Designer to join their growing workplace team!!

This role will see you responsible for the following:-

·         Manage and deliver the design process from conception to completion in a highly organised way with an efficient attention to detail

·         Manage people and resources effectively and efficiently, working with the team to deliver to tight deadlines on time and on budget

·         Ensure that the Design ethos and vision of the business is communicated and demonstrated throughout the project

·         Produce Revit/AutoCAD drawings at all stages of a project and demonstrate in-depth technical competency for project demands

·         Build productive client relationships and demonstrate clear understanding of client and organisation

·         Lead the production of information including reports and detail technical packages

·         Understanding of industry processes and protocols.

·         Build productive client relationships and demonstrate clear understanding of client and organisation

·         Assist the Associates with budgets and quality standards of each project

·         Develop detailed knowledge of the interiors, sector trends and suppliers

·         Involved on industry events and product launches

·         Activities related to job running including development of project design programmes, resourcing, change control amongst others

·         Review the work provided by junior and Interior Designers

 

The ideal candidate will have the following skills/attributes :-

·         Degree in Interior Design or Architecture

·         Significant Workplace sector experience is essential

·         Hospitality and Residential experience is advantageous

·         High level of Revit & AutoCAD skills

·         Excellent knowledge of NBS Create/Chorus specification systems

·         Highly computer literate, skilled in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite/Affinity applications

·         Skilled presenter both verbally and visually using software and hand drawing skills

·         Excellent communication skills

·         Experience of working directly with the client, contractor and design team

·         Experience delivering project from inception to construction

·         Experience coordinating with M&E and other consultants work
