Job description

​An ambitious and talented FF+E Procurement Coordinator is required for a glamourous design studio to join their talented team in their Southwest London studio. This 50-strong practice boasts an attractive portfolio of projects including hotels, restaurants, bars, members clubs and high-end residential developments.

This procurement coordinator role will see you responsible for assisting with purchasing and manufacturing of highly detailed FF+E, either bespoke pieces, off the shelf or antiques, handling suppliers, documentation, spread sheets, invoicing and procuring.

Some of the responsibilities carried out will include the following:

  • Obtaining supplier quotations (for both standard and bespoke items, negotiating on price & terms) and working with the design team throughout the tender and quoting stages to find suitable suppliers and achieve the best possible prices.

  • Placing orders and liaising with each supplier to ensure every order is delivered on time and to the correct specification.

  • Ensuring all procurement remains within budget and to the strict project timeline.

  • Inspecting goods upon delivery alongside the FF&E designers as well as liaising with warehouses to ensure the correct condition checks are made.

  • Liaising with contractors and the client team to organise the installation of the FF&E, resolve any outstanding snagging or delivery issues with suppliers.

  • Keeping track and approving supplier invoices for payment as well as assisting the accounts team to complete the final project reconciliation. Report weekly project updates to the team senior and the client.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of three years’ experience working on High End residential projects, with excellent working knowledge of the FF+E procurement process within the residential and hospitality industry. A solid knowledge of furniture and architectural materials and where to source them from is essential.
