Job Description
White Space is looking exclusively with this design forward practice for a talented Part II Architect or newly qualified architect with fantastic Microstation skills to join their dynamic team. The practice, which is around 10 strong, was started by the owner after leaving an internationally renowned studio where they worked on many influential projects including the Millennium Dome and major international Airports including Heathrow Terminals 1 and 5.
The practice believes in the principles of both tradition and invention which are channeled through site specific sensitivity, meticulous detailing and careful delivery. The studio is located in Southwest London and works on projects both nationwide and internationally. Their spectrum of projects includes residential, hospitality, F&B, interiors and commercial with each tailored specifically to the client and site.
This role would be mainly involved in medium to small scale bespoke projects and would demand a considerable knowledge and skill in MicroStation. The perfect candidate would have a design focused portfolio with examples of MicroStation if possible. Skills and experience with 3D software are not essential but would be beneficial. You would be based full time in the office and working mainly on competition design, a large hospitality sports project in the UK, a boutique hotel and small-scale residential projects. This is a contract role and would last around three to six months with the likelihood of becoming a permanent position.
