A multi-disciplined commercial interiors practice is urgently seeking a pure Technical Designer to work alongside the Lead Technical Designer & support the creative team. This ‘’Turnkey’’ Design & Build practice is looking for a person who is experienced within the retail & commercial workplace sectors. The practice was established nearly 20 years ago, they now have become market leading design team who value an innovative design idea. This is a great opportunity for someone who thoroughly enjoys the technical side of interiors as well as being on-site, communicating and liaising. The right candidate for this role should be either a CAD Technician, Interiors Technician or Technically motivated Interior Designer.

THE ROLE & RIGHT PERSON FOR THE ROLE:

• European travel - as the job requires
• Being part of a highly experienced team
• Working with well-known high-profile clientele list

• Minimum 5 years’ Interior retail & commercial experience
• Fluent in AutoCAD, experienced with Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp & InDesign
• Persons with CAD Technician/Interior Technician backgrounds will be considered
• Experience in design & build
• On-site experience essential
• Excellent communicator/negotiator
• Producing full construction/Joinery drawings & specification packages

• Partition setting out drawings
• Partition details drawings
• Lighting setting out drawings
• Elevations
• Examples of SketchUp visuals
