Job description

White Space is delighted to have been instructed to assist a global design firm their search to add Architects and Architectural Assistants to their busy London office.  Initially a 3-month contract, these roles have excellent scope to lead to a longer-term at the studio, either on a long term contract or a permanent job.

The Company

This studio are over 500 people worldwide and 100+ strong in London, a truly global firm in the sense of both studios and projects.  They are market leaders in sports architecture and responsible for many iconic stadiums and arenas throughout the UK and worldwide.  They are at the forefront of parametric design and use Revit, Rhino and Grasshopper on their schemes, which tend to be large, complex projects.

The Roles

x4 people - Architects or Assistants - to join the London studio.  There is real variety in the scope of works, some roles will be front-end design, whilst others will be heavy on the post-planning technical and delivery stages.  All the roles will involve working on innovative, complex projects for different high-profile clients.  Initially these will be 3-month contracts, though there is genuinely excellent scope to lead to longer term roles - either on a long term contract or turning into permanent positions.

The People

Either registered Architects or Part II Assistants (or the international equivalent), there is flexibility on this, and possess experience working on either the front-end design or the latter stages of projects (there are different roles for different types of experience).  You must have demonstrable experience using Revit, and it would be beneficial to have experience on either Rhino or Microstation, but not essential.  You must also be available to start on 2-weeks’ notice or less, as these are urgent roles.
