Job description

A large award winning architectural practice in central London are looking for an enthusiastic and eager to learn Facilities Assistant. This is a new role due to the company growing in size for someone to work alongside the current Facilities Manager. With large open plan offices in a great central London location around many bars and restaurants and excellent transportation links you’ll enjoy a daily trip into the office. Due to the nature of the role you’ll need to be in 5 days a week. Having worked in facilities or looking at moving into this sector you will be able to show experience working within an office environment. The company offers a number of employee benefits and also incorporates some fun into the work environment.

 

The Role will include :-

 

·         Assist the Facilities Manager with desk and office moves including re organisation and moving items into storage.

·         Maintain the tidiness and cleanliness of the office including all communal spaces and meetings rooms across the whole office.

·         Assisting the Hospitality Assistant when required.

·         Setting up meetings rooms and spaces for conferences, meetings and all events. This can include tables and chairs and lifting of furniture.

·         Act on behalf of the Facilities Manager when they are on annual leave or called away.

·         Supervise any external or internal building works from outside contractors.

·         Be on call for any issues within the office that arise.

 

Experience :-

·         Previous Facilities Assistant role.

·         Ability to show working independently and adaptability within an office environment.

·         Experience working within an office.

·         Ability to multitask.

·         Excellent communication skills and ability to adopt close working relationships with colleagues.

·         Working knowledge of Microsoft office.

·         Willingness to undertake training when required.
