Job description
Our client is an award-winning architecture practice renowned for its architecture, urban design, landscape and interior design. They are now looking for an Interior Designer to join their team after winning a new, exciting project. This role will involve working collaboratively with the interiors team and assisting in the day-to-day aspects of the project. They are looking for an experienced Interior Designer with Revit and residential UK experience.
The Role
• Oversee the day-to-day running of assigned projects, ensuring timelines and project goals are met.
• Manage specific project elements within the parameters established by the Directors.
• Use imagery, sketches, and models to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Assist in the preparation and delivery of project pitches, showcasing ideas to clients and stakeholders.
• Represent the practice at external meetings and events, as requested by the Directors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and external partners to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Work closely with the in-house team, contributing to internal meetings and design reviews.
• Support the Head of Interiors in achieving team goals and project outcomes. Collaborate with the visualisation team to produce CGI visuals and presentations.
• Guide Junior Interior Designers, delegating tasks where appropriate to support their development and ensure successful project execution.
• Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and external partners, ensuring open communication and alignment on project needs and goals.
• Manage the day-to-day budget for aspects of the projects you are responsible for decisions with significant resource or cost implications, and consult with the Directors.
• Represent the company and its values at industry events, consistently promoting the practice through high-quality work and professional conduct.
• Adhere to the company's Quality Management System and follow office-wide control procedures. Comply with CPD requirements to continuously develop your skills and knowledge.
