Our client is an award-winning architecture practice based in South West London who are renowned for its architecture, urban design, landscape and interior design. They are now looking for an Office Administrator to join their team to support the admin team and all departments. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their admin skills and learn about aspects of business within a creative environment. The ideal candidate will be someone who has great organisational skills, a positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn and grow.
The Role
Cover the Front of House during lunch breaks, holidays, and when needed.
Help the Front of House Manager with attendance, answering phones, and general reception tasks.
Provide admin support to teams across the office, including Studio, Accounts, Marketing, and Communications.
Cover for Project Administrators when they are on holiday.
Help prepare project documents, including templates, research, typing, proofreading, formatting, printing, and binding.
Assist with managing project files, uploading drawings, and keeping track of documents.
Help archive project files both digitally and on paper.
Keep the office contact list up to date.
Book travel and arrange meetings.
Help schedule appointments and manage diaries.
Support with ordering and looking after office supplies and equipment.
Work with the Quality Manager to follow ISO 9001 procedures.
Make sure all documents follow brand guidelines.
Help ensure everything meets the standards of the Quality Management System.
The Candidate
Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook for email and calendars .
Well-organised with a proactive approach to solving problems .
Strong attention to detail .
Clear and professional communication skills, both written and spoken .
Quick to learn, self-motivated, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team .
Delivers excellent customer service and interacts professionally with clients and visitors
