Job description

Our client is a multi-award-winning international architecture practice based near Liverpool Street. They are now looking for a Senior Bid Coordinator to join their Bids team on a 1-year fixed-term contract. This role will predominantly involve supporting winning bids within the EMEA and North American markets, working alongside the bid coordinators to create proposals. My client is looking for someone with around 4 years of experience working as a Bid Coordinator and has also previously worked on some more complex bids.

The Role

  • To work with key teams to create bid documents and proposals to win new projects across different sectors and locations.

  • To review client briefs, understand scoring criteria, and highlight any issues.

  • To manage the full bid process from start to finish.

  • To lead the preparation of consultant bids and responses to RFPs.

  • Run kick-off and fee review meetings with directors and team leads.

  • Collect and organise input from internal teams and external partners.

  • Create well-designed, professional documents using Adobe InDesign.

  • Adapt and tailor responses to meet client needs and make bids more engaging.

  • Support junior team members when needed.

  • Make sure all bids are accurate, high-quality, and submitted on time.

  • Use Excel templates to gather and check internal and external fees.

  • Help keep the bid and content database up to date.

  • Work with the Marketing and Communications team to keep messaging consistent.

The Candidate

  • At least 4 years of experience as a Bid Coordinator or in a similar role.

  • Confident communicator who can work with people at all levels.

  • A team player with a positive attitude.

  • Good at understanding briefs and strong in both writing and speaking.

  • Able to work on your own and take responsibility.

  • Self-motivated and well-organised.

  • Great attention to detail, with good maths and grammar skills.

  • Can clearly explain what information is needed from others.

  • Able to work with different teams to collect input for bids on time.

  • Confident using Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Excel.

  • Interest or background in design or architecture is a plus.

  • Skilled at writing and editing bid content.

If you’re interested in the role, then please send your CV with your location, salary and notice period, d.flower@whitespacerecruitment.co.uk or message me on LinkedIn, www.linkedin.com/in/daisyflower
