Job description

​Are you a creative and passionate senior landscape architect? An award-winning Architectural firm located in south west London is expanding its team and seeks an enthusiastic senior landscape architect to join their growing landscape division.

This practices' landscape division offers comprehensive urban design and landscape services from concept to construction. Collaborating closely with architects and wider design teams, they craft public and private spaces that contribute to vibrant, functional, and sustainable developments.

Their diverse portfolio includes projects like riverside public realms, town centre regeneration, podia gardens, and green roofs.

As a Senior Landscape Architect, you will play a pivotal role in:

  • Overseeing the design process from concept to implementation.

  • Assisting Directors and Head of Landscape in winning and managing urban design and landscape commissions.

  • Managing, coordinating, and executing project work, including design drawings, specifications, tender documentation, presentations, and reports.

  • Liaising with clients, design teams, professional consultants, external specialists, and statutory authorities.

  • Mentoring junior team members.

To thrive in this role, candidates should have the following skills/attributes:

  • Chartered Membership of the Landscape Institute (CMLI).

  • Experience across all RIBA stages.

  • Expertise in large residential/mixed-use projects, podium landscapes, and public realm.

  • Proficiency in Revit, Vectorworks, and/or AutoCAD.

  • Skills in Sketchup/Enscape, Photoshop, and InDesign.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

  • Confidence in presenting to clients, stakeholders, suppliers, and manufacturers.

  • Passion for landscape architecture and sustainable design.

  • Sketching abilities would be advantageous.

  • Proactive in winning new work and contributing to the growth of the Exteriors team.

  • Collaborative spirit, working effectively with people at all levels and backgrounds.
