Due to a steady increase in workload via a number of recent enquiries from new and existing clients, this established UK AJ100 practice, urgently needs to recruit a new addition to their sociable 18 or so strong team based out of a lovely north London studio. The Director of this office is known for his extremely sociable and personable management style so this really is a great place to work! The office is totally BIM/Revit based so therefore all new recruits must possess a high level of Revit literacy otherwise you will definitely struggle to settle in. Extra Revit training will be on offer though for the right person. Their workload is primarily within the residential & mixed use sectors.
The Director is now keen to recruit ASAP either an Architectural Technologist/Technician, a Part II Assistant or even a technically focused qualified Architect to slot into an existing project team working on a major residential/mixed use scheme that is currently at the post-planning stages. Previous experience on similar projects and a more delivery focused experience/background would definitely suit the office but personality is also a key feature. They do work on a number of projects at pre-planning stages so you will get the opportunity to get involved with some design work.
Your main role will be to work closely with the lead Architect and take a key role in the production of the full working drawing package on a major multi-unit London based residential/mixed use scheme. This will also include dealing directly with the contractor and ensuring the project runs smoothly throughout all the key stages. You will be required to be heavily involved in the job running aspects of the project and also getting out on site and attending project meetings with the other main project consultants.
