Job description

Tired of commuting into the City? Fancy working closer to home? Enjoy working on residential projects? If it’s a resounding yes to any of these questions then take a look at this!!

White Space is excited to be working with this centrally based Reading practice (within 10mins walking distance from the train station) that is experiencing an increase in workload. Their 12 or strong merry band of Architects, Architectural Assistants, Technologists and not forgetting the support team requires an additional pair of hands to cope with the ever demanding needs of projects.

Their workload is predominantly within the residential sector which ranges from beautifully crafted one-off houses for private clients & small-scale developers through to medium size developments for a number local and regional developers. They take on projects from initial client brief through to delivery on site so they can offer all clients a thorough service throughout the project life-cycle.

They have an urgent need to recruit an experienced individual who is totally AutoCAD literate and has a track record working within the residential sector. They are completely open to the type of individual they recruit so will happily meet candidates who are either fully qualified Architects, experienced Part II Assistants who just haven’t had the time to gain their Part 3 or an Architectural Technologist that is comfortable performing a totally all round role.

In return you will receive a competitive salary, superb project experience, career progression and the opportunity to work alongside a really supportive team.
