Job description

Small but established architecture and design consultancy based in central Ipswich is currently recruiting a key individual for the future growth of the business and also to cope with their ever-increasing workload. Having recently moved in to a brand-spanking new office space they are now seeking either a newly qualified Architect or a Part II Assistant who is nearing completion of their Part 3 studies to join their talented team. This tight-knit design team consists of qualified Architects, an Interior Designer, Architectural Assistants, an Architectural Technologist and a Branding Consultant. Their workload covers a number of sectors and are currently working on the following live projects:-

  • Commercial interiors
  • Residential developments - developer led & student accommodation
  • Individual luxury houses
  • Boutique hotel
  • Entertainment & hospitality

They tend to concentrate on projects up to the planning stage but they are also involved on the delivery side so the opportunity to gain exposure on a complete mix of building types at various stages is definitely on offer.

The ideal candidate will be a talented qualified Architect or experienced Architectural Assistant who possesses a wealth of talent and passion who is searching for that long term career role as this opportunity will definitely lead to a full Associateship. You must be totally AutoCAD literate and be used to using the various Adobe Suite products. If you have had some exposure to Revit this would be beneficial but not essential. In return you will gain superb project exposure, the opportunity to take on huge amounts of responsibility and play a key part in the future of this practice as they are looking to expand and open a studio in London so the future is definitely bright for this business!
