This leading and rapidly expanding 3 office architectural practice is looking to recruit an experienced Architectural Designer with a proven track record working on major house builder projects for their studio based in stunning offices overlooking the seafront. They are seeking a talented and professionally focused individual who has a proven track record within the residential sector successfully achieving multiple planning permissions on a variety of schemes.

The chosen candidate will be required to lead a number of projects simultaneously, ranging from intimate but complex infill schemes through to large urban extension projects, ranging from the £1m mark through to £200m in construction value. Projects are wide ranging in their appearance and the clients will either be major national house builders, private developers or housing associations. The role will include preparing feasibility drawings, masterplans, planning application packages and achieving planning permissions so you won’t get bored if you’re passionate about the residential sector!

To be considered for this role you must possess:

• A minimum of 5 years UK based residential sector experience
• Considerable experience running large urban extension projects throughout the whole project life-cycle
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of planning standards and UK building regulations
• Proficiency in both AutoCAD & SketchUp
