BIM Manager needed to run the London office for a global architecture & design studio!! Competitive salary on offer.
 
A renowned international practice of the highest regard is looking for accomplished BIM Manager to join their London office. This well-established studio boasts an impressive portfolio of innovate projects all of remarkable design quality that are critically acclaimed by industry leading professionals around the world.

With office locations situated across Europe, Asia, The Middle East and North America this role will provide you with access to a global pool of knowledge and resources. The successful candidate will be given the remit to oversee project teams in multiple UK office locations and will be collaborating with BIM Managers across the Asia-Pacific region.

Further to ensuring all relevant standards and protocols are met, your responsibilities will include:

·        Liaising with IT to drive changes in procedure and standards to BIM Coordinators and project teams.
·        Maintaining good understanding of region specific government BIM changes, developments and trends.
·        Providing one-to-one mentoring on ‘Best Practice’ workflows to project teams.
·        Leading and supporting regular auditing of projects whilst providing feedback.
·        Maintaining records of BIM projects, team members using BIM/Revit and the levels of experience/training received.
·        Ensuring a strong and successful company wide BIM adoption whilst supporting the delivery of the BIM Manifesto.
·        Managing and coordinating globally the best practice for the issue of BIM documentation.
·        Identifying and managing BIM training requirements.
·        Chairing regular BIM development group meetings.

As a senior member of the management team overseeing this company’s technology strategy it is essential that you have:

·        RIBA Part III qualification (or equivalent).
·        A deep understanding of UK BIM level 2 requirements.
·        Proficiency with Revit and Navisworks.
·        The ability to quickly resolve technical Revit issues throughout project life-cycles.
·        Experience in configuring and managing projects’ BIM data sets.
·        The ability to work under pressure and balance multiple projects simultaneously.
·        Confidence in mentoring, engaging and guiding staff at all levels of the business.
