Job description

White Space is actively seeking a highly experienced and technically/delivery focused individual to join one of London's leading executive practices in June to specifically work on a major commercial development. The role is for a fixed 3 year period so would suit someone who is keen to find a medium term role and has a proven track record in delivering commercial office projects. This role will report directly to the Project Director so will be a key member of the project team going forward.

Roles & responsibilities overview:-

  • Take a lead role in monitoring the entire project
  • Work closely with the senior team on the following:-
    • technical audit processes
    • project research
    • internal technical reviews
  • Check and oversee project compliance
  • Review and be fully conversant with the Building Contract
  • Quality monitoring
  • Report to and liaise with the Client's Project Manager and Employer's Agent
  • Undertake regular technical reviews
  • Review the novated Design Architects construction drawings
  • Review specialist sub-contractor drawings and technical submittals
  • Undertake regular site inspections and produce Site Observations Reports
  • Produce and issue monthly monitoring reports
  • Attend site meetings
  • Review as-built drawings / O+M Manuel’s

Requirements:-

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience on all project stages, particularly at the delivery stages
  • Exceptional level of technical/construction skills/knowledge
  • Good knowledge of BCO and commercial office statutory regulations
  • Proven track record in delivering high quality office developments
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work independently and effective prioritisation of duties
