Job Description

White Space is working exclusively with a trendy boutique studio who is urgently seeking either a talented and design oriented Part I or Part II to join its growing team to work on a number of truly unique UK based housing developments.

This trendy studio based in South London has had a great start to 2020 (even with recent events!) securing a number of extremely unique housing projects ranging from 140 units to 500 units in size and is also waiting on a number of other housing schemes to come to fruition. The studio is currently 3 strong and is looking to add another 2-3 people (initially remotely obviously!) within the next few months, but for now they are concentrating on looking for a Part I or Part II with strong Microstation and feasibility/concept skills. The studio will be moving over to Revit in the near future so if you possess Revit experience this would be a major bonus! The practice is super friendly and the Director is known to offer guidance and training as he has worked with some top Architects during his architectural career. You will be working closely with him so this a fabulous opportunity to learn from one of the best!

The project at hand is still currently at the initial stages so you will be entering the project at the beginning so you will have to possess strong design skills and ideally good technical design experience to be considered for this role. The projects this firm specialise in are generally all UK based medium to large scale residential/mixed use schemes. This particular project is confidential but is totally unique that is not something that happens very often. This is great for someone with experience working on large scale housing projects in the UK ideally focusing on the early stages, Microstation is vital as this is the firms main software. The office will be moving over to Revit in the near future so perfect for those who are either already trained or looking to be trained on the software. This is a full time permanent position and looking for someone who can ideally start immediately or within a months notice. You will be set up remotely initially with a view to be back in the studio as soon as is allowed.

Do not miss out on this opportunity to be a part of a growing practice, apply now by sending your CV and portfolio no larger than 10mb demonstrating the above skills now!
