White Space is working exclusively with a well renowned company and is looking for a site architect to support a major project in Woking for an initial 18 month fixed term contract.

This position is a very key role for this company and its to represent the studio team on the project site and will involve working very closely with the team in the London studio who also regularly attend site. This role requires an experienced person with knowledge and understanding of all aspects of construction and experience working on tall buildings. The projects consists of retail, residential. hotel, parking and public realm. 

The role includes daily site walks and making observations on behalf of the client team. This can be alone and at times with the client team. Inspecting, snagging and signing off building for sectional practical completion. Inspect and provide confirmation of materials and workmanship in line with the contract. Reporting back to the client weekly in accordance with the building contract on quality and progress. Assisting the Architect team in detail resolution and flow of information between site queries and studio. Attending quality control meetings and workshops with contractor and client.

Ideally we are looking for something with the ability to use Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Photoshop and InDesign. Any experience of document control would be ideal and must hold a CSCS card.
