Job description
Hugely respected and multi-award winning studio in a stunning north London location is urgently seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist or technically oriented qualified Architect to join their team and primarily focus on the post-planing stages of projects. This practice is renowned for consistently delivering high end, design-led residential schemes for both private developers and individual clients and now urgently seek an experienced, proactive and hugely motivated individual to join their friendly team of talented architects & designers. They are a totally BIM based practice and would need this individual to be totally BIM savvy!!
Your primary duties will include the following:-
- Involvement in the production of all tender and construction packages
- Managing the full tender process; including documenting, issuing drawings, project analysis and progress reporting directly to clients
- Coordinating all external consultants and managing the project team internally
- Undertaking site inspections & liaison with all contractors and sub-contractors
To be considered you must possess the following:-
- A minimum of 2 years professional experience within the UK
- 4 years BIM experience - ideally ArchiCAD but cross-training will be given for the right person
- Proven delivery focused experience through RIBA Stages 4-7
- Extensive exposure in delivering tender and construction packages
- Substantial knowledge of JCT contract administration
- Comprehensive knowledge of the UK Building Regulations
- Dealing with RFI's, issuing instructions, valuations & certificates / administration of contracts
