​Are you an experienced Interior Designer looking for a new opportunity in Sussex?

This firm of interior designers, architects, graphic and branding consultants based near Brighton, focus on creating quality design solutions for projects and businesses which has earned them multiple awards and the reputation of being on the top 3 design led firms in Sussex. They are currently working on residential, new build and refurbishments on pubs/restaurants and hotels and are without doubt one of the leading practices in Sussex focusing on Architecture and Interiors. I have worked with this client for 10 years and placed multiple candidates into the practice including interior designers, technicians and a project manager with great feedback. Located in bright, creative and modern offices near the station, this company has been going from strength to strength for over 15 years and continue to expand. They are passionate about great architecture and work closely with each client gaining an understanding of their needs and market vision. Their focus is a holistic design process that begins with meticulous research and concept creation through to detailed working drawings, on site project management and contract administration.

About you

·       Minimum 5 years’ experience BA (Hons) or MA Interior Architecture qualification (or equivalent).

·       Must have a proven portfolio of hospitality projects demonstrating a creative and technical skillset.

·       The ability to produce detailed technical drawings, the use of AutoCAD and Adobe Photoshop are essential for this role. Hand sketching also an advantage.

·       Excellent design, presentation, conceptual and visualising skills.

·       Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to tight deadlines.

·       Fluent in written and spoken English.

·       Strong and confident communication skills.

·       Motivated and enthusiastic team player.

·       Comprehensive material understanding including suitability for specific applications.

·       Good understanding of building regulations.

·       Previous site experience is an advantage.
