Due to a considerable amount of new project enquiries coming through the door this established architectural practice based in East Sussex is now urgently seeking a suitably qualified and talented individual to join their sociable team specifically to work alongside the Director. They are currently working from home but due to go back into the office in the next month or so. 

Based out of stunning offices in East Sussex this practice is renowned for its work within the residential sector. Boasting high quality projects ranging from one-off houses through to volume residential developments for leading developers this office can offer fantastic experience from planning right through to delivery on site. The office uses both AutoCAD & BIM (Revit training will be given).

Recent restructuring and an increase in workload/enquiries means they now need to recruit an experienced individual to join their planning team on a permanent basis. They have received a number of inquires from new and existing clients which include a handful of amazing one-off houses, a small development of several high end homes for a small local developer and some extremely large residential developments for major national developers. You definitely won’t get bored!

They are ideally looking for someone who has a passion and experience working on residential schemes and has previous exposure to designing residential layouts for large estates and the ability to turn their hand to smaller scale developments as well.

The main criteria is as follows:-

• considerable experience producing site layouts for between 5 - 500 units (independently)
• responsible for the production of feasibility and planning layouts
• AutoCAD literate
• Must possess a background in either architecture, urban design or have worked for a residential developer
• Possess a minimum of 2 years experience working on residential layouts for developers
• Be comfortable and confident on both the design and technical side of projects
