Project Administrator – Job Advert

Our client who is a multi-award-winning international architecture practice based near Liverpool Street is looking to acquire the services of a Project Administrator to join their team. In this role, you will be managing all aspects of project administration and providing any general admin support to the technical team. This role is integral to the business, playing a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of projects and supporting directors, project leads and other teams when required. The ideal candidate will be someone with a strong admin background who has previously worked within the Architecture, Construction or Design industry.

The Role

·        Act as the go-to person for the administration of a project, supporting the Directors, Project Leads and their teams as required.

·        Undertake aspects of document control.

·        Manage and maintain project records on SharePoint & server ensuring that the relevant information is in the appropriate project folders.

·        Assist in the coordination of project meetings i.e. preparation of agenda, minute taking and distribution.

·        Assist in the supporting of project leads with providing research for bid submissions/proposals.

·        Coordinate with the commercial manager on the implementation of strategic processes for design management.

·        Travel arrangements when required.

·        Assist teams with resource planning.

·        Assist teams with monitoring and completing their project plans.

·        Provide support and cover to Project Administrators and Receptionists as required.

·        Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

The Candidate

·        Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Oracle, InDesign, and Illustrator.

·        Experience working in a fast-paced, people-orientated environment, juggling many priorities at once.

·        Experience working within a professional services and/or built environment business is preferred.

·        Good organisational, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

·        A proactive mindset and good team player.

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·        A confident personality that can communicate and engage at all levels.
