White Space is excited to have been approached by one of London's most desirable and established multi award-winning architectural practices as they are urgently seeking a CAD/BIM Manager to undertake a strategic role across their 70 strong London Studio based in Clerkenwell. Since their inception in the early 1980's this practice has built an enviable list of projects and continue to deliver highly prestigious projects which actually do make a difference to the urban environment. They offer their staff an extremely friendly office environment, which is quite informal, but they do work to very high standards!

They now need to recruit an experienced and knowledgeable CAD/BIM Manager who can be the "go to" person within the office for anything CAD and BIM related. Essential skills, roles and requirements for this position are as follows:-

  • Extensive Revit knowledge - some Microstation knowledge would be advantageous
  • Experience of working within either an architectural or engineering practice
  • Provide the whole office with CAD/BIM general support and training the staff in software usage
  • Management and development of all office wide CAD & BIM standards, including libraries
  • Maintenance and management of the office CAD and BIM systems, including licences
  • Overseeing the integration of all systems within the wider office and IT environment
  • Versatility & well organised
  • Proactive and an efficient self-starter
  • Always calm under pressure
  • The ability to prioritise between several tasks or projects
  • Helpful and totally service-oriented
To be considered you should also possess a sounds knowledge and understanding of industry standards and recent developments.
