Job description
This multi-disciplinary practice is seeking an Architectural Assistant to join their friendly studio in order to support their continued growth and wide portfolio of projects. Established in the 1960s, the practice has grown from strength to strength starting with two architects and is now currently at over 25 technical staff. They operate in various sectors including residential, educational, commercial, Industrial and leisure often collaborating with surveyors, project managers and health and safety consultants.

Your responsibilities for this role would include:
- Preparing, developing and editing, under the guidance of the project leader or nominated architect, drawings, models, images and other documents relating to the design
- Assist and support architects in executing multiple architectural projects.
- Maintain all architectural drawings, plans, client specifications and survey notes in organized manner.
- To interact with clients, design team members, and contractors
- Assisting in general duties in the office
The perfect candidate for this role would be eager to learn, flexible and co-operative. You would also be responsive to requests, sensitive to others, able to talk to wide range of people and able to manage your day-to-day workload effectively whilst maintaining a clean work environment.
In order to be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following:
- A Part I architectural degree or equivalent
- Ability to use Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Internet Explorer, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- A good understanding of AutoCAD in preparing architectural drawings
- Use of, or ability to learn, Revit in preparing architectural drawings
