Job description

This long established and internationally renowned architecture and design firm is seeking an accomplished Human Resources professional to support the vibrant central London studio. With over 1500 talented staff worldwide, and countless office locations in major cities around the globe, this practice offers significant international reach giving you access to a global pool of knowledge and resources.

The conveniently located London studio produces projects of significant scale and design standard across a range of sectors including mixed use, transport, aviation, healthcare, commercial and education.

This is a very urgent role and this practice is looking to have someone in place as soon as possible within the coming weeks, although longer notice periods will be considered.

The ideal candidate for this role will bring clear guidance to the management team to ensure the success of HR policy implementation across the company whilst undertaking all administrative responsibilities with aplomb. It is essential that you are able to work without supervision and have drive and ambition to enact and sustain change.

As a key support figure within the office, you will be responsible for a range of vital functions, including:

  • Providing the appropriate counselling, coaching and support to staff members
  • Administering plans and programs for the business unit level tactical management of the HR function in order to foster a positive and productive work environment
  • Implementing company human resource policies and procedures
  • Acting in an advisory capacity to HR operations in the US
  • Overseeing all aspects of recruitment including offers, screening CVs and interviews
  • Overseeing training, development, and performance programs along with terminations and exit interviews
  • Attending events and job fairs as required.
  • HR administration

In order to be considered for this role, it is essential you can demonstrate the following:

  • Batchelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, organisational development, business management or another related field of study.
  • 5+ years of human resource management experience
  • Excellent working knowledge of BambooHR
  • Professional Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of principles and practices of HR administration
  • Proficiency in ADP and SilkRoad beneficial
