Job description

A famed international practice of the highest calibre is looking to bolster its support team with an enthusiastic and driven Studio Assistant who has experience within the architecture and design industry. This well-established studio boasts office locations across Europe, Asia and North America and has built an impressive portfolio of innovative design projects celebrated by industry leading professionals around the world.

This role will see you join a supportive and dynamic team within a studio that strives to produce a vibrant social atmosphere. This role will be a hybrid position encompassing administrative, studio coordination and front of house reception responsibilities.

General duties will include:

  • Answering and screening telephone calls
  • Meeting and greeting visitors
  • Booking and managing meeting room (including catering)
  • Assisting with the monitoring and ordering of office supplies together with general admin support
  • Booking couriers
  • Binding documents for presentations
  • Maintaining a safe and clean reception area and meeting room
  • Sorting and distributing post
  • General admin support such as letters and meeting minutes

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent customer facing skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to follow telephone protocols
  • Professional attitude
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Adobe InDesign or/and Photoshop knowledge would be an advantage
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Proactive approach with a strong work ethic
  • Energy and enthusiasm
  • Able to engage and work with a wide range of people including those holding senior positions in this and other organisations
