Job Description

This established studio is looking to find a dedicated and experienced Regional Director to manage the region from their London office. This role will be an Associate level role within the company and is the most senior level of management below the main Board.

The London studio is currently 8 strong and is about to move into a bright new location in Central London. This London location is one of the 4 regional studios across the UK allowing the firm to operate nationally. They work on a wide range of scales and sectors focusing their efforts on industrial, residential, healthcare, retail, education, and travel. They seek to create buildings with the perfect balance of form, function and finesse highlighting both technical and design excellence in all their works.

The role would involve the management and wellbeing support of the office along with the overview of professional and technical work in the practice ensuring that every service is delivered efficiently to a high standard. You would be expected to attend Regional Director meetings inputting into matters of project management, resourcing, financial matters, Health and Safety and HR across the region.

The main areas of responsibility for this role are the following:

  • HR and staffing including recruitment and staff development
  • Marketing and sales to support the business development of the studio
  • Premises management including managing the maintenance, security, and refurbishment of the office environment
  • Project management and standardisation of BIM and CAD within the office in conjunction with the existing standards.

The ideal candidate for this role would have experience and evidence of the following:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in a senior architectural role
  • Be a qualified architect or possess equivalent experience
  • Experience managing a large team of architects and leading projects
  • Excellent knowledge of CAD and BIM protocols
