Job description

This innovative workplace interior design studio is looking to support their successful studio with an experienced and creative Senior Interior Architect. Established over 40 years ago, this studio operates across the Southeast of the United Kingdom to create high quality workspaces that reimagine the office environment.

The role is design led, working alongside the studio directors to intelligently develop briefs and designs in line with RIBA stages 0 – 3 in order to create innovative and dynamic interior spaces. Whilst this is not currently a management role, there is scope for the position to develop over time including a possible route to becoming Head of Design. The ideal candidate for this role would be an energetic, motivated, self-directed, consistent and positive team player.

The position allows for agile working with 2/3 days in the office and the rest from home. They have a strong ethos of care represented in their SMART values (Straight forward, make a difference, aim high, respect & responsibility, teamwork).

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following experience:

  • At least 3 years’ experience of leading projects at Senior Architect or Associate level
  • Interior design experience in Cat A+ / Cat B fit out for landlords / occupiers / flexible space operators
  • Skills in hand sketching and CAD software
  • An Architecture / Interior Architecture degree, architectural qualification preferred
  • Experience with Revit

The salary for this position is between £60 – 80,000 pa (DOE) for the right candidate and has room to grow and develop in the future. So, if this sounds like the perfect new role for you then please do not hesitate to get in touch!
