Job description

We are pleased to be partnered with a London based design focussed practice whose diverse portfolio of work has enabled them to work on a plethora of truly exceptional schemes across pretty much all continents! Having been established in the 2000's this 14 strong studio continues to grow due to their diverse workload and impressive reputation. Their extensive list of built work includes commercial, high end residential, education, cultural & mixed use schemes so their project track record is immense!

Due to the green light being pushed on a recent commission with a high-profile client they are now looking to hire an ARB/RIBA registered interiors focussed Architect to join their talented team of Architects and Architectural Assistants. They are urgently seeking an experienced and talented individual to lead a small team on the delivery of a London based high-end fit-out commercial scheme.

The role will involve the following:-

  • Manage the design process to meet the needs of the client
  • Lead the delivery and management of all the various packages
  • Oversee, manage and mentor a 3 person strong project team
  • Attend and lead all client meetings
  • Ensure all work produced is consistently of a high standard
  • Take full responsibility for all drawings etc that leave the office - communicate and liaise effectively with all those involved with the project - client, contractor and suppliers
  • Actively oversee and be involved with the delivery of all bespoke items and joinery detailing
  • 100% reliability and commitment to the role, project & team
Qualifications and skills required:-
  • ARB/RIBA registered
  • a minimum of 5 years PQE
  • Proven track record within high-end commercial and hospitality projects
  • Prior experience delivering projects of £10m+ in value
  • Possess on-site experience and have successfully delivered numerous technical packages
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with individuals at all levels
  • Proficient in using AutoCAD and Adobe CS. Revit would be a massive advantage but not essential
  • You must be extremely mature in your outlook and be totally approachable at all times in your manner
  • Possess superb organisational skills, be proactive in your approach and have a strong attention to detail

Your main focus will be to lead this high-profile London based project but from time to time you will be asked to hop onto another project within the studio as and when requested and time allows.
